The Waiting Game

Kate Spade introduces "The Waiting Game" starring Anna Kendrick for their Holiday Video campaign for 2014. "The Waiting Game" features Anna coming home from a day of shopping only to realize she's lost her keys. It's up to Anna, and her cute dog Milos, to figure out a way back into her apartment. It's truly a New York moment. 

HēLō approached me to help work on this project by directing, shooting and editing the behind the scenes content. The idea for this project was to create an interactive video that people could click on and fill up a queue of links to items found within the video. For example if you click on Anna's sunglasses during the video, a link to those exact glasses will pop up in your queue for purchase on the Kate Spade site. If you were to click on Anna's dog Milos, you'll be brought to my behind-the-scenes content introducing her furry little friend. Unfortunately the clickable video was only up for a short amount of time, but I've made it simple for you to watch all of the content below. 

This project also featured director Michael Mohan (Dir. Fitz and the Tantrum's Moneygrabber + Save the Date) as well as the talented Director of Photography Sam Levy (DoP. Frances Ha + While We're Young + Wend and Lucy). The iconic fashionista Iris Apfel also makes an appearance in the film.
